Fay Ahmad Shahata
Fay Shahata is the resident Clinical Dietician at FSRI, specializing in developing individualized weight management programs to help patients deal with their different health, diet and weight concerns.
Fay began her professional training at The Health Company, where she completed a two-month tenure as a trainee dietitian. Following that, she finished a second stint as a trainee dietitian at Royal Hayat Hospital. She had also previously completed an internship in nutritional care process (NCP), practicing at Kuwait Cancer Control Center, Al Amiri Hospital and Al Adan Hospital.
A Kuwaiti national, Fay attended Kuwait University’s College of Life Sciences where she completed a Bachelor’s degree in nutrition in 2016. She has also completed the Ministry of Health course on Infant Feeding and Lactation. Fay is also active in several community programs and initiatives, previously serving as a dietician with the Rijeemy Walkathon initiative, and currently volunteering as Lactation Counselor at Birth Kuwait.
