Melana Tysowsky is a physiotherapist with experience in a number of clinical areas including pediatrics, neurology, orthopedics and sports medicine. She works to provide treatment and care for patients suffering from varying musculoskeletal and neurological concerns.
Before joining FSRI full-time, Melana had completed a three month clinical rotation at the Institute in early 2016, as part of an ongoing training program for Doctorate students at Duke University. She has also completed a clinical rotation focusing on pediatric physiotherapy at Cincinnati Children's Hospital’s Perlman Center, and a clinical rotation at Pivot Physical Therapy focusing on orthopedic physiotherapy. Melana has completed additional training in kinesiotaping and dry needling techniques.
Melana earned her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Duke University in 2016, and her Bachelor’s degree in Performing Arts from Adelphi University in New York in 2009.
