My child does not have a condition or a formal diagnosis, can they still come to the center?

Yes, even if your child has no formal diagnosis or condition and you think they would benefit from therapy they can attend for an assessment of their needs. Our therapists will assess your child and give recommendations of treatment that may be needed.

What age do you see children until?

We see children until the age of 18, from there adults will be seen by our adult therapy team. However this does not mean that a child cannot stay within CERC past the age of 18 if thought beneficial for their therapy.

What are the prices for children’s therapies?

Prices for therapy varies across profession and time, please call our clinic on 2205-2877 for up to date pricing.

My child needs physiotherapy and speech therapy, will this not be too expensive?

If your child requires multiple therapies we are able to offer reduced rates to ensure your child receives the treatment they require. We also offer packages of sessions which are bought prior to treatment; this offers discounted rates on sessions.

My child needs therapy but I cannot pay the fees, what should I do?

As an organization we aim to ensure all children are able to access therapy. Because of this we are able to conduct a financial assessment and offer financial assistance towards treatment if deemed appropriate. Applications for financial assistance can be gained from our center in Hawelly.

Do you take Insurance patients?

Yes, we have direct billing arrangements with NAS, KOC, TRICARE, CIGNA and VAnbreda. If you wish for more information about insurance please call us on 2205-2877 and we will be happy to advise.

I am unable to attend morning therapy sessions due to working commitments, are you open in the afternoons?

Our therapists aim to be flexible although there schedules do get busy most afternoons.
Our opening times are : Sunday 8am-6pm, Monday 10am-6pm, Tuesday 8am – 6pm, Wednesday 10am-6pm and Thursday 8am-6pm.

Please note psychology and speech services are currently only available in the afternoons. Please call our center for more specific information regarding therapist’s availability and to book an appointment.

My child is struggling in school, do your therapists visit home and school to give advice and recommendations?

After assessment and if thought appropriate, therapists can conduct home and school visits. This can be helpful in assessing different environments and how they may be affecting your child’s ability to function.

I am unsure if my child needs therapy, can I speak to a therapist first before I make an appointment?

Yes, our therapists are always happy to have a conversation about your child and the appropriateness of therapy prior to any booking. Please call our center on 2205-2877 to discuss your concerns with a therapist.

Are you related in any way to FSIS?

We are located directly under the FSIS building and maintain strong links with the school. We also assist with the assessment of FSIS school children as referred.
